The 4th Migration forum “Peculiarities of talent hunt – how to receive cleverness from the other side of the border?”


According to one of the strategic guidelines Europe should be even more attractive to the talented and skilful people. One of the discussion points at the 4th Migration Forum of the EASS’s Centre for Migration Studies, which was held on 4 December 2014, was the attractiveness of Estonia and other member states of the EU from the viewpoint of external talents and entrepreneurs, it was also discussed what should Estonia do in order to be successful when hunting for talents.

Annual International Conference "Networked Security"

On Wednesday, 19 November, there was the 11th Annual Conference of the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences “Networked Security” held at Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel. Among other guests there were members of the IT working group of the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI) and the participants of the European Police College’s (CEPOL) expert course „Cybercrime Forensics & Digital Evidence” taking part in the conference. The aim of cooperation between the specialists of IT, law enforcement and criminalistics experts is to find solutions for carrying out cross border pre-trial investigations and for combating cyber crime, which is becoming more and more common in today’s information society.
