- Graduate of the course:
- Defines the tasks of the border guard in accordance with the framework of the Schengen Acquis in accordance with the standards of fundamental rights
- Describes the provisions of the Schengen Borders Code and the EU Schengen Catalogue, as well as the principles of CIRAM implementation
- Evaluates the compliance of the work organization of the Ukrainian border guard with the principle of the Schengen acquis
- Describes the work organization of a border point that complies with Schengen requirements
- Lists the main procedures for the EES and ETIAS
- Implements the principles of European integrated border management in the border guard service
- Describes the cooperating agencies and their role in second line check
- Carries out second line check according to EU legislation in accordance with the standards of fundamental rights
- Profiles border crossers during border control in a non-discriminatory way, identifying a potential vulnerable person or victim of human trafficking

The training will focus on different elements, procedures, and technological solutions of IBM, with the very strong focus on integrity, respect for fundamental rights and corruption free governance.
To provide Ukrainian Border Guard officers with the knowledge and skills to implement border control measures in accordance with Schengen rules and standards of fundamental rights.
