CALL FOR PAPERS

Estonian Academy of Security Sciences (EASS) announces an open call for high-quality original articles to be published in June 2026 in the academic journal Security Spectrum: Journal of Advanced Security Research. 

Security Spectrum  is a non-profit academic journal that publishes well-documented and analysed studies on full range of contemporary security issues, especially internal security and law enforcement with European or global international focus. The journal is indexed in the EBSCO database as well. 

The 27th issue of the journal focuses on the topic of comprehensive defence. Subtitle of the edition is Security as a social contract: The meaning of comprehensive defence in a changing security environment. 

Priority is given to works addressing this topic, however, studies based on original empirical data devoted to security issues also befit the scope of the journal (e.g. external border, future threat scenarios, safety, migration, radicalization, hybrid conflict, use of mass data, disaster management, innovative technologies and education).

Articles not exceeding 25 pages (1800 characters per page) should be sent to: fo@sisek
