High-level conference "How to Fight Financial Crime: New Opportunities and Approaches"

on 24th and 25th September 2024

in the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences (Kase 61, Tallinn, Estonia)

 

In this high-level conference, we will welcome researchers, policymakers and practitioners to discuss the most recent developments in financial crime. The event offers new ideas and ways of cooperating to prevent, counteract and combat financial crime.

On the first day of the conference, a plenary session with keynote speeches will focus on changes that are needed to render financial crime unprofitable. Thereafter, participants are invited to take part in parallel workshop sessions for more in-depth discussions with key experts.

On the second day, the conference will focus on corruption. Which types of corruption are most harmful? Which trends are emerging and how to deal with these?

On both days, the conference venue will offer an exhibition space for showcasing compelling projects aimed to tackle crime and corruption, which can be explored during lunch and coffee breaks.

The detailed agenda of the two-day conference will be available on July 2024, the registation opens on August 2024.
