Internships at the College of Justice 

There are four curricula implemented at the College of Justice: professional higher education curriculum for the speciality of corrections; vocational education curricula for the specialities of prison guard, information and investigation officer and case manager. All internships are carried out under the supervision of appointed supervisors in Tallinn Prison, Tartu Prison and Viru Prison.

Internships for the speciality of corrections

In the first year of studies, there is the Introductory Internship and Internship of Surveillance Activities. In the second year, there is the Internship of Resocialisation, and in the third year, there are the internships of disciplinary procedure, law enforcement procedure and the Final Internship.

Internships for the speciality of prison guard

The Introductory Internship is conducted in the I semester, and the Participatory Internship in the II semester.

Internships for the speciality of information and investigation officer

Students already are employees of the prison service.

Internships for the speciality of case manager

Students already are employees of the prison service.
