Virtual seminar about the Belarusian border crisis

Internal Security Institute of the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences of will organize on 22nd of February 2022 a virtual seminar "Lessons from the Belarusian Border Crisis".

The aim of the seminar is to create a platform to exchange information and thoughts about the threats to the Baltics and Poland following the Belarusian border crisis. At the event, representatives from Latvian, Lithuanian, and Polish border guards will share their experiences about the border crisis that occurred in 2021 and describe the events at respective borders. In addition, the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board representative will provide an overview of Estonia's readiness to cope with a similar crisis.

The seminar is moderated by junior research fellow Jaanika Puusalu.
