We are happy to announce that the Joint International Week of TTK UAS, Estonian Academy of Security Sciences and Tallinn Health Care College, targeted to the teachers and staff of higher education institutions, takes place on 5 – 9 November 2018.
The theme of the week is Prevention. Risks. Responsibility.
The three institutions, Estonian Academy of Security Sciences, TTK University of Applied Sciences and Tallinn Health Care College, train internal security officials, engineers and health care specialists. On a daily matter these professions have one responsibility in common: they are dealing with prevention and risks. The international week aims to introduce the practical side of the three institutions and focuses on everyday exercises and activities used in our institutions for training and education.
The themes of the week include: smoke diving, water rescue, digital society, environmental protection, resuscitation, violence prevention, nursing.
REGISTRATION is open until 15 October 2018.

Activities at Tallinn Health Care College: Simulation day "Intimate partner violence and pregnancy" in the morning and "Nursing simulation" in the afternoon.

Afternoon site visit: wastwater treatment facilities in Paldiski or
Visit to the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences.

Thursday, 08 November
Day as a Fire Fighter and Paramedic (up to 20 participants)
Location: Rescue School at Väike-Maarja
8.00 Trip to Väike-Maarja Rescue School.
Activities at Rescue School: during the day the participants will get the chance to work as fire fighters and paramedics and try the smoke diving, water rescue and resuscitation.
19.00 Back in Tallinn
